The devil has successfully brought a great disunity amongst brethren with the diverse teachings about Grace. I will attempt to speak on this subject as the Lord has taught me. Firstly I would want us to realise that the root of the misunderstandings of this teaching is the phrase 'once saved always saved'. Now the doctrine of eternal security is correct and the bible teaches that once you're born again, you are born again. [Eph 1: 13; John 10: 28, 29]. You don't have to be born again again. You are saved and immersed into Christ once! But the error is coming from the evil motive of lewdness, ungodly and a perverse living people attach to the phrase 'once saved forever saved', now making it look as something wrong. The phrase in itself is correct scripturally. But the motive behind the phrase is corrupt and hence the phrase has also become corrupted in the eyes of many believers. Innocent believers who love the Lord would zealously proclaim that once saved is forever saved in other to help some people who has been battered by sin consciousness, self pity, lying spirits and condemnation. But in their bid to correct an error, they over stretch the truth and enter into an error themselves. I've realised that most persons that proclaim that once saved is always saved are sincere and preach the doctrine from a sincere motive but it takes discernment to detect an error not sincerity. One can be sincerely in error. 



From scriptures we see Paul, who is an Apostle of Grace teaching us certain biblical truths and ending it with a clear warning in the last verse.
Ephesians 5:2-7 "And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them."

Paul was teaching the believers at Ephesians on walking uprightly and admonished them to PUT OFF THE OLD MAN and PUT ON THE NEW MAN and showed them their place in Christ and also ended a short sermon with a warning that the unbelievers are going to hell because of fornication, uncleanness, idolatry, covetousness etc. And told them not to be partakers with the unbelievers, that is not to join them in such act.

There are countless other scriptures where the Apostle would warm them on the danger of not walking uprightly. As a believer, you are required to do two major things. PUT OFF YOUR OLD MAN (your old ways and lifestyles) and PUT ON YOUR NEW MAN that is the character of Christ! (Romans 13:14, Ephesians 4:21-23). This is done by constantly receiving Light from God's word. Sin no longer has power over you, that means you now have the power to say No to sin! (Titus 2:11). The bible didn't say that sin disappears when you become a believer but the power of sin over your life is broken and divine enablement (grace) comes to make you deny sin and choose righteousness, which the people under the law could not do. Grace comes to empower you to live like Jesus Christ...not just in power, but also in character.

Do not be carried away because popular men of God are preaching the message of Grace in a way that supports careless living. Every man will be judged individually. Refuse to be a baby and go to the Lord for truth! Do not be filled by signs, wonder, healing or miracles done by any such preacher who preaches grace unto lasciviousness. If you allow yourself to be spoon fed for the rest of your life, you would be spoon fed with the wrong diet. Please brethren, I implore you to contend for the truth. Study Scriptures carefully so you won't fall into the category of people the bible called 'Zeal without Knowledge'. Do not be more zealous than the will of God! Zeal can make you preach what the Word is not saying. Zeal can make you view scriptures in a wrong way. Your zeal can sound like the voice of the Holy Spirit. So be carefully. Be very very careful with the Word of God. Approach His word with meekness and an open heart to learn directly from Him. Apostle Paul taught us new creation realities and he also taught that we should run away from sin in 2Timothy 2:19 "Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

I will end this write up with the words of apostle peter who spoke a prophetic word by the Spirit and the word is obviously being fulfilled in our time with wrong doctrines of law and of grace.
2 Peter 3:14-18 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation--as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,
as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
